I had a Rheem solar hot water system installed about 5 years ago.

I paid extra $ for the 'Titan' panel which supposedly worked better.

Hall & Baum didn't connect it right and it leaked into my ceiling. Lots of painting required by me to fix.

But the real annoying thing is that from about April to Sept the hot water isn't very hot in the morning (this is after off peak boosting) and if I don't have a shower/use the hot water in the morning and want one in the evening, its barely even warm. I reported this to them at the time and they played around with it but never fixed it. I just called them again now to see if anything can be done as I'm finally fed up with it after a luke warm 9.30am shower. They told me that the important bits only have 1 year warranty (they sell them as a 10 year warranty but apparently this is only on the tank which of course won't fail).

Got a hot water system installed by this company. As soon as we used it that night it was leaking badly. I called and got someone out to fix the leak the very next day. A few weeks later i got a bill for over $100 dollars for a call out fee. When i rang them and said i wasn't paying for a call out fee and it wasn't my fault that the plumbers didn't tighten it enough they hung up on me. Although I probably was a little agitated I didn't deserve to be hung up on. I will never go through this company again and either should you.
